Flex Spending Accounts

Both Medical and Dependent Care flex spending accounts are available to full-time employees. A Dependent Care account allows you to defer up to $5,000.00 per year for dependent care costs and are available upon employment. A Medical Expense account allows you to defer up to $1,500.00 per year.

Employee Assistance Program

All employees and family members of their household can use the many services available through our employee assistance program, free of charge. This program provides 24-hour assistance for a wide range of concerns including family, marital, financial, legal, emotional, and other problems that interfere with daily living. Section 125 Plan

Employees of Stetson Building Products, Inc. can elect to pay medical and dental premiums with pre-tax earnings.

Retirement Plan

Stetson Building Products, Inc. employees are eligible, following 6 months of employment, to defer a percentage of their pay and place it in a company sponsored 401(k) plan. The Plan’s administrator is Wells Fargo. Stetson Building Products, Inc. has a generous employer match. Your contribution will be matched at a rate of 33%, up to the first 15% of pay you elect to defer.

Tuition Reimbursement

Full time employees are encouraged to improve themselves by furthering their education. Stetson Building Products, Inc. will reimburse employees who successfully complete courses designed to improve job performance. Prior approval must be obtained so that course content can be reviewed. See employee handbook for additional information.

Vacation Pay

As an employee of Stetson Building Products, Inc. you will earn vacation pay at the rate of 1 day per month of employment up to 10 days per year. Vacation can be used after December 31st of the year it is earned in. Five days of vacation pay maybe carried forward from one year to the next. Employees with 5 or more years of service will earn 15 days of vacation per year. Vacation will not be paid out in lieu of time off.

Sick Pay

Full time employees earn sick pay at the rate of 4 hours per month. Sick pay may be used following 90 days of employment. Sick pay can be carried forward from one year to the next and an employee can accumulate a maximum of 30 days of sick pay.

Holiday Pay

Full time employees, who have worked more than 30 calendar days, receive the following paid holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
